Murder Mystery Dinner 2

Join the Texarkana Museums System for "A Murder in Texarkana" murder mystery dinner at the P. J. Ahern Home, 403 Laurel Street in Historic Downtown Texarkana, USA. 

It’s 1916 and you've been invited to a wake for one of Texarkana’s most prominent recently deceased citizens. There's foul play afoot and the evening may end in another death. Can you guess the murder’s identity? Find out on Saturday, April 29, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tickets are just $45 each or $40 each for TMS Members. Couple Tickets are just $80. How this event works:

Each guest will assume the role of a particular character.
Mystery Dinners involve a combination of improvisational acting, storytelling, and creative problem-solving. Each guest will play the part of that character throughout the course of the game. Each character has specific personality traits, goals, secrets, and information, all of which are included in the character sheet that you will receive either before the event date or when you arrive.  A big part of the fun is getting into character and taking on a new, exciting role. If you are able and interested, it adds to the fun to wear generally appropriate time period clothing, hairstyles, and accessories - but costuming is not required.

A mysterious event will occur!
At some point during the party, a "murder" will occur that will force the players to come together in order to solve a problem or unravel the mystery. 

Solve the mystery! Guests will need to use the information that their characters know (from their character sheets) as well as additional clues that are discovered during the game to solve the mystery. It's important to follow the instructions for your character. You may have the piece of information that solves the case! If at any time you need assistance in carrying out those instructions, TMS Staff is on hand to assist.
