Description

Come out to lunch with us and hear how we ended 2025 and a little bit about what is in store for the new year!  We cannot wait to share how far we have come in the past year and maybe even include a sneak peek into 2026.

We will also hear from Jolene McCall Harris. She is an author of nine books with her most recent work centered on World War II, American heritage, and family legacy. She is the daughter of Staff Sergeant Joe B. McCall, a B-17 gunner who served in the Eighth Air Force. Her most recent manuscript is drawn from her father’s original wartime diary and personal papers. Through years of careful research and reflection, she has worked to preserve not only her father’s story, but the shared experience of a generation shaped by war. As a Texarkana native, McCall writes with deep respect for the community that raised her father and later, herself. Her writing honors the quiet courage of ordinary men and the towns that raised them.
